Shape Your Future...
Networking ~ SAC members act as student representatives at SIUC alumni functions. Experiences with successful alumni allow members to network with graduates and develop valuable career contacts. In addition, we attend a yearly conference where we meet other Student Alumni Groups from around the country.
Leadership ~ SAC provides its members with opportunities to realize and develop their own leadership potential. The Council has positions and committees to challenge both experienced and not-so-experienced leaders.
Experience ~ Gain valuable experience administering one of SAC's programs. As a chairperson, you will have the opportunity to plan, manage, and evaluate programs from beginning to end.
Recognition ~ Earn recognition and build your resume promoting your future alma mater. SAC presents various awards to its most active members.
Social Activities ~ SAC sponsors social activities to promote friendship and teamwork in the Council. Some of these include: weekly socials, holiday parties, new member retreats, graffitti party, and intramural sports.
