Who is SAC?
Student Alumni Council (SAC) – Jump in the SAC! No, it is not what you think; it is the Student Alumni Council, a registered student organization founded by the SIU Alumni Association in 1977. The group is committed to enriching the student experience at Southern, networking with alumni, service to campus and community, diversity, student excellence, educational programs, and undergraduate recognition programs.
The Student Alumni Council consists of an executive committee, chairpersons, and general members. Executive committee: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Financial Officer. Chair positions: Social, Service, Public Relations, Special Events, and Super Student.
